Otkrytie Bank, the sole owner of the «Kama» Group of Companies, decided to renew and expand the board of directors of the group, which includes «Kama» Pulp and Paper Mill» LLC and «Kama Êarton» LLC. Vladimir Druzhkov was appointed as the new General Director of «Kama» Pulp and Paper Mill» LLC and «Kama Karton» LLC.
The board of directors of «Kama» Group of Companies, headed by Vyacheslav Vorobyev, includes Vladimir Druzhkov, Franz Josef Marx and Maxim Pisarev. Previously, the board of directors included Vyacheslav Vorobyov, Vladimir Varivonchik, Alexander Zarubin, Andrey Kashubsky, who retained their seats.
The updated composition of the board of directors of «Kama» Group of Companies is a team of independent directors, top-level managers with extensive experience in project management. They held top managerial positions in large pulp and paper and forestry holdings, such as International Paper, GC Ilim, Mondi SLPK, Sokolsky Pulp and Paper Mill, SVEZA-Les.

The second stage of the «Kama Karton» investment project based on the city-forming enterprise «Kama» Pulp and Paper Mill» LLC is aimed at creating an import-substituting production of coated FBB (Folding Box Board) cardboard from bleached chemical and thermomechanical pulp (BHTMM). Such cardboard is widely used in packaging and in the food industry.
The project is under construction of new production and auxiliary facilities with an area of over 100 thousand square meters. m intended for the placement of technological equipment and engineering infrastructure, including the construction of a new complex of local treatment facilities using the best available technologies (BAT).
Currently, a new line for the production of high-quality cardboard FBB is under construction, the launch of production is scheduled for the end of 2020.
After reaching the design capacity, the production volume of FBB-cardboard will be 220 thousand tons per year. The products will be delivered to the domestic market and for export. Planned export share up to 50%. Currently, the volume of investment in the project amounted to 22.8 billion rubles.
Financing the most promising sectors and enterprises of the Russian economy is a priority for Otkritie Bank. The commissioning of new capacities for the production of coated folding box board (FBB) "Kama Karton" will replace about half of the volume of Russian imports of these products. In addition, thanks to Otkrytie Bank, the first high-tech production of coated cardboard (FBB) will be created in Russia, which is fully consistent with the government’s import substitution policy.
The construction of a production site on the basis of «Kama» Pulp and Paper Mill» LLC in Krasnokamsk contributes to the socio-economic development of the Perm Region. Due to tax deductions, the regional budget will be steadily replenished. It is planned to create more than 350 new jobs.
